It’s hard to believe, but number 250’s restoration is finally complete. Woohoo !!!
And that, friends, is that. After countless hours of work and outrageous financial outlay, Julie’s Last Edition Beetle is finally back on the road. Here’s the happy couple enjoying a special moment together.
Q. How much did the restoration cost ?
A. We’re not going to tell
you, but it was quite a lot.
Q. Would you recoup your investment if you sold it ?
A. Hahahahaha !
Q. Are you ever going to sell it ?
A. No.
Q. Was it worth all the time, trouble and expense ?
A. By any reasonable metric, of course not. But Julie loves her Beetle. And what price love ?
Q. Would you do it again ?
A. No. Not now; not ever.
