Two prongs of attack this month: preparing the driveshafts, and starting the wiring installation.
The steering knuckles, torsion arms and other heavy-duty undercarriage components were all powder coated.
When Julie bought the new loom a couple of years before these photos were taken, no one made exactly the right one for the '78 1200L model, so the one that's going in is the closest she could get. Of course, it's now possible to get the right one, but they're expensive, so it's not having another. We made do.
