I purchased this vehicle by pure chance as my wife had been onto me about getting her a Beetle as I own a 71 Devon bay, which is having some work done on it at Rusty Campers. I spoke with Matt who had just had this come in. It is in pieces but has had some work done on the chassis due to corrosion. I purchased it for £400, with the intention of having it restored for my wife, and found it was No.183 through looking through papers supplied by the former owner
