Additional information:
Two previous owners. Bought new by motoring journalist Richard Copping who used the car sparingly and mostly for VW shows where it won multiple trophies over the years. It features frequently in many of Richard's books and articles illustrating LEBs and their specification. Never been welded or restored.
LEB 81 has even been sat in by Major Ivan Hirst when interviewed by Richard.
Driven to Hessisch Oldendorf in 2013. Displayed at the Classic Motor Show at the NEC several times.
