Deborah wanted a 1978 Beetle since she was a little girl, and last year found one for sale. She took Bertie home with her within a week of seeing him. He came with all the paperwork from the beginning of his life, with records of his previous owners and what they'd done to him over the years. She says it'll be a labour of love getting him restored, but so worth it.
